Maxine + Mycal’s Maternity/Paternity Shoot – Arlington, Virginia

Okay, I hope I’m not alone in thinking that expecting dads joining their ladies in joint maternity/paternity shoots is awesome. DJ Nicar is a DJ and music producer who works and lives in the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia metro region) and puts out amazing work. Sara at Manassas National Battlefield Park

Ridaa + Hamaad + Hamza – Great Falls National Park

Family photographer mode, engage! Ridaa and Hamaad contacted me for a family portrait session with them and their son Hamza (who is awesome). They wanted to take advantage of the quickly fading autumn colors so we decided to meet and shoot at the Virginia side of Great Falls National Park. The 2015 Timmy Awards

Guess who was the photographer covering the 2015 Timmy Awards? This guy. The Timmys are held to recognize the best places for technology professionals to work and are held by Tech in Motion, a national events organization for tech enthusiasts created by Jobspring Partners and Workbridge Associates. Categories for awards included Best Tech Startup, Best Tech Manager, and Best Tech Work Culture.
